Illness Policy

If your child has any signs of a sickness that can be passed on to other children, please keep them at home. You may miss an activity due to a child being sick or yourself being sick, but there will always be another activity. For the safety and health of fellow members, please stay home until everyone is feeling better. If you do attend an event and anyone is uncomfortable with you or your child's symptoms, you will be asked to leave.

If you or your children have any of the following symptoms, please refrain from attending any MOMS Club function:
  • Fever (must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication)
  • Rash in last 24 hours that has not been cleared by the doctor
  • Runny nose that is not allergy related (like green or yellow discharge)
  • Excessive cough that is cold related
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhea or vomiting in last 24 hours
  • Extreme lethargy
  • Pinkish appearance to the eye, especially if there is discharge
  • Communicable disease (Chicken pox, measles, mumps, lice, 5th disease, whooping cough, scarlet fever, etc.)
  • Any illness potentially dangerous to pregnant women

If you are hosting an event and have to cancel due to illness, please make an attempt to see if one of the other attendees would like to host it. You may ask another mom who had planned on coming to help make phone calls to reschedule or cancel.

If you have attended an event and go home to find your child has a contagious illness, please notify the other attendees so they can be on the lookout.
